Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced site-based Paint Operative’s with Structural Steel experience to join our team.
This role will be nationwide with regular travel to sites.
Your new role
Your role as a Site Paint Operative will require you to visit sites nationally to conduct onsite touch-up and paint repairs all in line with the project specification. Project specification will range from basic primer to high decorative intumescent coatings.
You will be responsible for managing the onsite application and repairs as per the project specification. You will also be required to record daily on-site environmental readings (humidity, temperature etc), and be responsible for achieving site handover dates and programmes. You will be working alongside the Site Managers and erection crew, but also from time to time some self-management.
You will possess a strong understanding of onsite Health and Safety regulations.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience within the Steel industry is essential along with experience of working on site.
In addition, a CSCS, CPCS, IPAF, ICATS or NVQ would be a distinct advantage.
